Pumpkin Pie in a Glass

Just like pumpkin pie in a glass, but without the calories & fat. This smoothie makes for a delicious drinkable breakfast or energy-boosting snack.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 very ripe medium-sized banana (preferably frozen)
  • 1 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt (preferably fat-free)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5-6 ice cubes (crushed)

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth, making sure the ice is completely crushed.
Feel free to sweeten your smoothie to your preference.  You may also add powdered protein, if you're so inclined.

Makes four 8 oz. servings or two 16 oz servings.
